Sherry Heenan, Physiotherapist

We welcome Sherry Heenan, Pelvic Floor and Orthopedic Physiotherapist as the very first to be illuminated in our Empowered Magazine!  Sherry is truly an inspiration with her drive to succeed, to help women in our community and unwavering kindness that she expresses to everyone she meets.

Sherry is a mother of two beautiful girls, Faith and Haven, and wife to her loving and supportive husband, Dustin. Since grade 10, Sherry dreamed of becoming a physiotherapist and in 2009, her dream became a reality when she graduated with a Masters of Physical Therapy from The University of Toronto. She makes it her life’s purpose to be healthy, happy and to help others do the same, all while being a positive role model for her babes.

Sherry is always challenging herself and loves to step outside of her comfort zone. Through her genuine smile and continuously growing knowledge, Sherry empowers women to come to her completely as themselves. Women whom were taught to be ashamed of their pelvic floor issues are able to seek comfort and assurance with Sherry, and she does it because she cares.

Her dream of helping people is accomplished daily, leaving us in awe that one can give back to their community and be successful. Her strong intention has shown us that a woman’s will to not settle on dreams alone and to continue to grow, is possible.  She shows us her beautiful heart throughout her Facebook and Instagram posts, which are often reflective of mindfulness and self-care. To us, Sherry is the epitome of self-love and authenticity.
